BreatheSafeAir is your source for well-researched, independent, and honest information on air pollution.
I started BreatheSafeAir in 2019 after Seoul experienced three consecutive days with an AQI rating of over 150. I didn’t know the health impacts of air pollution, but I was certain visibly dirty air couldn’t be healthy.
When I started digging deeper, I discovered how dangerous air pollution truly is, yet there is very little awareness surrounding the issue. I believe this is primarily because information on air pollution isn’t easily accessible. I started BreatheSafeAir in an attempt to remedy this issue.
BreatheSafeAir is my effort to make this information more available. My goal was and continues to be to increase awareness of air pollution’s harms and introduce the protective measures we can take. Which masks are effective? Can we trust air purifiers? What particles are the most harmful?
In this blog, I aim to answer these questions.
