What I'm currently testing

Aeropulse A200-CO2

Aeropulse A200-CO2

The first device I'm testing that uses the new SenseAir S12 CO2 sensor. With over 500 days of operation on AA batteries, is this the new best CO2 monitor for buildings?

Odak Clean Air Assistant

Odak Clean Air Assistant

Perhaps the most beautiful air quality monitor I've tested, the Odak is a comprehensive indoor/portable air quality monitor that will always draw attention.

BREATHE Air Quality Monitor

BREATHE Air Quality Monitor

An 8-in-1 air quality monitor that's affordable, has good cloud storage and app support, and an internal battery. Could this be the new affordable pick?

Sensereo MSC-1

Sensereo MSC-1

Smoke and CO alarms have been stuck in the past for quite a while. No longer! This Matter over Thread alarm looks to be promising for anyone with a smart home.

How I test

Every verdict here is built on hands-on testing, measured where I can (sealed-room CADR, sound, temperature and humidity against a calibrated hygrometer) and backed by third-party labs and research where I can't. Scores follow fixed, published tiers, not arbitrary rankings. See the full method on my methodology page.

Dispatch

The findings that don't make it into the reviews.

BreatheSafeAir is a one-person publication. There's no team and no marketing budget behind it, so every subscriber genuinely matters.

Subscribing is the best free way to support the work. You'll get what I'm currently testing, the findings that never make the full write-ups, and the kind of detail you only get from someone who actually puts these devices through their paces.
